Delightful Events is a Zimbabwean decor and equipment hire company. We supply the pieces, and we are there on the day to put them where they belong.
Our story
Hire should be the easy part
Anyone who has planned an event in Zimbabwe knows the pattern: chairs from one supplier, linen from another, a tent from a third, and a lighting contact who may or may not answer the phone on the day. Delightful Events exists to collapse that list into one.
We keep the whole setup in stock — seating, tables, tenting, draping, linen, centrepieces, lighting, catering equipment, staging and sound — so a single quote covers the room from the floor up, and a single crew delivers and installs it.
We work with couples, corporate event teams, churches, schools and families. Some clients want the whole venue styled; others need four hundred chairs and a marquee by Saturday. Both are welcome.

How we work
Four things we hold to
Show up early
Setup happens well before guests arrive, not while they are walking in. We agree a rig time and we keep it.
Quote honestly
An itemised quote with delivery, setup and deposit stated up front. If something is unavailable on your date, we say so before you commit.
Look after the stock
Linen laundered and pressed, glassware polished, chairs checked and repaired. Tired stock gets retired, not sent out.
Answer the phone
On event week you will have a number that gets picked up. That matters more than anything else we could promise.
